"This was a wonderful hotel that was comfortable, quiet, and pleasant - and a great price. Easy walking distance to restaurants and grocery. Clean and adequate room, not luxury but nicer than others I've stayed at in CR. Great pool. Shared kitchen space if you want to cook. Good WiFi. Friendly staff. 5 min ride to Jaco, but in a really nice little town that is the total opposite of everything Jaco is - perfect. Will stay again."

"Facilities were awesome! We loved it. It offered and had everything you need to spend a great time. From kitchen supplies to some hygienic products. Surrounded by nature and the facility to access the beach, it made an exceptional time to spend with the family. Quiet place. Great parking lot. Pool photos make it look smaller than they really are. They were good — temperature, size, cleanliness."

"Walking distance to the beach — got to watch the locals surf, the black sand was heavenly and the sunsets were so orange and pink and grand. Owners and employees were so kind and get you anything you need. The AC was super cold which we loved going to sleep at night. The pool was so nice after a hot day — very refreshing and luxurious. Always clean and well maintained."

"What a lovely place! Nice trees so plenty of sun and shade, beautiful pool, very clean outdoor kitchen with two sinks, two gas cooktops, filtered water and even paper towels. The staff were very friendly and the room was clean and comfortable with hot water. It's only a couple of blocks to a long, dark sand beach. Watching the surfers with gorgeous sunsets in the background was our favorite. Highly recommended."

"Had to review this hidden gem. The Cabinas Brisa del Mar are fairly trimmed down, no-frills cabanas with a lot of open space and an easy feel that is very welcoming. Mason walked out in his flip-flops, gave me the leisurely tour while explaining we'd sort the charges later. Within 10 minutes I was chilling poolside with a cold cerveza, letting the sound of the waves help me forget about the travel troubles of the day."

"Great stay here. All the staff and the owner himself are lovely. We absolutely loved the area and would definitely return. The room was basic but had everything we needed. Nice comfy beds and decent pillows. WiFi was good, pool area was lovely and clean with outdoor kitchen facilities. Thank you to all the staff for a lovely stay — we wish we'd stayed longer."

"Very relaxing, clean, good condition. Pleasant setting. Near the beach. Owners were very friendly. Good for family but also for couples. A bit out of the way from the Jaco craziness but very close if you want to indulge. Also a short walk from a bunch of restaurants."
